Apparently to fast. It's hard not to get into the pedal of these cars. There are just fun to drive !! At least he told the cop the truth

True story, I was testing the alky injection when it was first installed one night. I was getting gas on the way out of town at the last place before a long open road. A car full of teenagers pulled out of the station squeeling tires and a state cop hiding behind the station lit them up. I though, that's gotta be the only cop in town, so when I pulled out on the open road I built the boost up and let it rip. I got way out of town and slowed down at the next little town and pulled into a closed bank parking lot to check data and the lines. A bit later a local cop pulls in with his lights on, gets out and tells me it took him along time to catch up to me and basically WTF!!!???? "I was parked next to the state cop, didn't you see me?" I honestly didn't see the cop and told him so. I said I thought the town was basically deserted (it was, little town) and that I was testing my alky system. He actually totally cooled out and said, "oh ok. interesting" and then checked out the car. He was totally cool and just said to "Chill out and be careful"

That's a great story. I enjoy reading real life happenings about these cars. Do you remember what your top speed was down that road ? Just curious !!. I can remember putting that pit bull chip and minor mods on my car years ago when it was popular. So one night I decided to take it down a highway just outside of Detroit late at night without a lot of traffic. Jumped on it at 55 mph and climbed to about 120 still pulling hard. But I let off the gas to slow down so I could merge onto another freeway. WELL , as soon as I came around the turn, ( and it was a pretty tight 180° on ramp ) of course Mr. State trooper was parked on the side. Yeah he pulled me over and asked me why I was going 85 on a 35 mph on ramp. I said I was checking out how my stock tires would handle around turns,, since these cars were driven at the Indianapolis speedway. He also walked around my car and said, " nice car ". He let me off with a warning. Thank God he didn't know my speed before the on ramp. Whoooo. Scarry. And yes the ATR pitt bull system is out in the trash. But I found that these cars can hug turns with the stock tires unbelievably well. So don't try this at home kids , i was a dumbass in my early days. (-@$&+).

Nice , I bet your car runs great. Also sounds like you know what you're doing fine tuning your alky and etc. I installed a new turbo and just got done with my alky system and was wondering if I should take it to a specialist to dial in and tune and tweak my car. I've installed a lot of other mods myself too ,,, but I'm not ,,,, nor have the equipment to fine tune the motor. Definitely don't want to blow it up, so your opinion is greatly appreciated. Any input would be super. ...
