    nice article - thanks for posting.
    I think all of the "whiners" about the 210 hp forgot to look at the torque "345-lbs ft of torque at 2,000 RPM"
    Hmmm... if the cars hadn't been fighting the "two ton curb weight", they might have been more fun o_O

    Converted to an aftermarket TBI setup, that would make a fun and interesting power-train for a 3rd gen.

    After hearing Jim Lyons talk about that car/motor at the T/A Nats back in 2014, I gained a whole new respect for it. There were also a bunch of other fans of the 301 on hand with plenty of stories about making a lot of power and having some fast/reliable cars. It really seems like the electronics needed had not really even reached the infancy stage at the point in time that this was being developed :confused:
