So I know the TTA community is pretty small and generally this forum isn't super active, so it'd seem it wouldn't be the target for spammers. However, they still exist so make sure if you get a PM or plan to purchase something, don't let your guard down due to the small community.
Background, there was a post pending moderator review from last week in response to gemrsn wanted post for beechwood door panels. Seemed relatively legit, but was the persons first post saying they have them and no real details just an email. Quick google search and the same message and scam had been caught on several other completely unrelated forums.
So just a reminder, if it's not a long time member of the community that you trust, try communicating through cell phone, use Paypal or other payment method that protects you as a buyer, ask for detailed and unique photos, etc.
If you do see some spam, let me know. I've been trying to be more active and check the forum at least 3-4 times a week now.
