Well daily driver TTA 733 from Chicago has gone down!!
I was driving home from my parents and just started to get on it and then BANG and car had no go. I pushed it to the side and picked it up later with my trailer. Pulled the rear end out and look what I found, this was a stock nine bolt with a TA girdle. Not much help that thing was.
Is this something that can be repaired?? A new gear put in?? Or is it done??
I don't really wanna buy another rear end. So much $$$.
TTA 733 has 93k miles on it now. I am starting to believe Jason's theory that you can not daily drive a TTA, although I have been trying all this past year. This car runs 11.6 consistent, I guess that's too much for the stock 9 bolt.
