#1024 SOLD IN 2001 W 161, 000 MILES

I remember this car from 2001 when it was sold. #1024. It had 161, 000 when sold in 01.
Originally shipped to Roland Angelle inc (Pontiac) in Lake Charles Louisiana.
Wonder where it's at now and mileage...
It was bought from original owner in 2000 in Kenner Louisiana with 159, 000

The car in question 1024.... was my old car! It was my first TTA and am sad to say hated to let it go at the time but I was on the eve of a divorce and I also lost a 92 Trans Am with the G92 package as a result of that divorce.

I now have Festival car #124 and must admit after having that first one,,,there is no substitute. I think about 1024 often and have seen some pictures of her when she arrived at the new owners home. The car is still listed in the registery but haven't been able to make contact with the info provided.

That picture in the first post is when it was picked up out of my driveway. My black and grey Silverado is on the side and if you look close you can see the back end of my police car. I had just came home from a detail when the man showed up to take her home. I remembered looking at my soon to be ex-wife and stating to her that "I WILL get another,,,You haven't won yet."

Can you not run the vin# thru the DOT and find out if it is still registered being you are in that line of work?
 
Yes,,if the car is still registered it can be found anywhere in the country or it will state that it met it's maker. I have wanted to find out where it is in recent time and as far as I know the man that bought it from me in 2000 sold it. Now you have me curious. I'll keep ya posted.
 
It's funny I was trying to find my old car and found this thread. I sold it on ebay after reverse went completely out for $8500 to a guy from Boston who flew down and drove it home. Not sure where it ended up, but I'd sure like to know. I hated to sell it but didn't have the $ at the time to build the trans. While I had it I put on a new rear spoiler and new a/c compressor which was a real PITA to find.
