2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Takes Off

First time for everything....and today I got my first ride in a Lamborghini :dirol:....I dropped the TTA off to get a few more body touch ups done and the owner gave me a ride back home in his new car...it was only the second time he had driven it.....talk about G-Forces.... This car is a beast.... 6 speed, all wheel drive...and 600 HP. It has wings on the sides that open at a certain speed to act as vents to cool the radiator and engine..... it also has a spoiler on the rear that lifts at 60 mph... I have never felt something grab and go like this car did.... It was yellow..and he already painted it this stock lambo green...and put new wheels on the back...the fronts are being finished now...the ones on it are stock...he has some more body work to do to it too...but what a car....Enjoy the pics and video... click on the last one to watch the video

Just my opinion, mind you....both of his cars are GREAT cars but have hideous paint colors and paint schemes.

Agreed... . That is what his shops specialty is... exotic paint jobs...so he does his cars like that and changes them quite often.... I guess his best way to advertise... and he drives a Lambo so what do I know....lol
 
I like the green on the Lambo and I'd really love to go for a ride in one some day. There are two of those local and they are both green. I love the new wheels! Very cool look! As far as G's go I've been 0 to 60 in 3.1 in a 91 Syclone. That held me in the passenger seat pretty good! goes 3.0 with just the driver for a lot less money than a fancy import:rofl: I'll give the looks to the import though:bounce:

JMO, but I think that exotics are best left un-touched. Even the TTA looks the best with the factory wheels IMO. I've seen them with other wheels, but the fatctory stuff looks good to me.

The front and back wheel on the lambo don't match, kinda weird. I think I would prefer a 2005-2012 Z06 and have some cash left over for a twin turbo kit and then throw a big crawfish/crab leg party.

Lets do it-sounds like a good plan to get thru the winter that is dragging on!

I'm not a big fan of exotics, but a ride it that would have been fun.!! I do like the smaller 2 seaters imports-Mazda Miata and the S2000's. Those are in my price range-a Lambo-I dont think so!
 
Yea, kind of weird really...fun ride...but the inside is really not that nice for $280k... maybe the new ones are a little better...the Ferrari inside looks a lot more refined....and my 2004 c5 is way more comfortable and looks better inside for sure...

The front wheels will match the back ones, they were being finished, he said they had three pieces and one of them was cracked... sounded expensive... he knows what he is doing though and I am sure he got it for a great price and will flip it for probably more than my beloved TTA is worth.... crazy world we live in..... Looks like they have upgraded the interior since 2005 though...the new ones look pretty nice.... If I had that kind of money...I have a garage like Rob is building and at least one of these in it.....
