383 charger to firebird???

Hello!
Is it good/bad idea to install 383 engine from 68` Dodge Charger to 83` Firebird???
Are there problems with compatibility and parts? Tranny is TH-350. Any ideas??? I heard it problem getting parts for this engine and the i should still choose chevy engine.

if you're not going with the right motor you should use a gm motor
go with a 350 chevy its always a good motor

i would suggest a gm 350 you can do alot with them and there a very dependable engine i built a 383 and it runs great good luck with your car
