A Rare Find

I have been looking almost 2 yrs. for the trim pieces that goes at the top of the armrest, it is hard to find these that are not cracked or broken.

It would be nice if they could be reinforced to make them stronger, maybe putting something to the back of them.:thumbup:

Only 2 years, I spend the past 10 to find my driver side one and Robert stepped up and got me sorted just 6 month ago

They clean up very nicely with some plastic polish.

The bad news is that they will eventually crack.

When I find the time I might do a proper CAD model of one and see if they can be cut in aluminium and then painted to match; geometry of them is a bit tricky so will take some doing to re-engineer them properly without scanning them. Anyway longterm project at the moment

Dang, These came out of Philly. I hope they weren't stolen from Jim's car.

I actually got them on e-bay, twenty something for the two.

I coated the center part with Sem camel paint for plastic. Maybe it will slow down the cracking process, we will see.
