Another New TTA Owner

ALSTTA

New Member
Just wanted to say Hi to everybody. I just purchased an original 89 TTA to go along with the 86 GN I've owned since new.
The TA I found has 51K on it and I bought it from a guy who parked it with a mysterious brake problem 3+ years ago (turns out the only problem was the front pads went metal to metal eventually causing the LF caliper to lock up)..DontKnow:
Anyway, I'm currently waiting for the brake parts so I can enjoy the car I've always heard so much about and look forward to being a part of the TTA owners group.

Congrats on your purchase. With your GN you know how fast the TTA is, when you get those brakes fixed you'll love how they handle and stop

Welcome! I'm a fairly new member myself, and this forums has been the friendliest non-cutthroat place I've been on the net. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

Welcome, I am a pretty new tta owner. A ton of info on this site and turbobuick.com. You probably know that since you have the gn. Now you have the black and white cookie!!! Do you know your car # and what area are you it? Again welcome!:chat:

Thanks guys, I plan on contacting PHS soon to find out the number, but I do know it originally came from NC. I'm in central New Jersey myself and there are a couple of Englishtown stickers in the windows so I'm assuming it's seen the 1/4 mile a time or two.

Hey Alan welcome to the board and ownership of a TTA! The best performance car of the late 80's! :) I'm usually always at Englishtown for the fall Pontiac,Buick event so hopefully I'll catch you there! Any questions you have about your TTA don't be shy to post. That's the nice thing about this board it's all TTA all the time! :) You might want to make sure you have this site bookmarked as well!

By the way Alan there is a thread on this site with a pdf file that has alot of car #'s according to vins. Look for it, your car might be on it already!!
I need a test and tune day at Etown soon. I live on Long Island , I'll post when I'm headin there:cool1::cool1:

I did check the post with the VIN numbers on it, but mine wasn't there. My VIN is 1G5FW217XKL238320 but I wasn't sure the list was still being updated or I would have submitted it.
