whats up guys, i am in the process of buying a tta ok. which as 152,000 miles on it, it needs the of course two front seats and new carpet, could use a freshen up on the paint to but not to bad, car runs good, i am purchasing the car for 4g's, any feed back on the buy [good buy or not]?:eam:

Look under the group purchase forum for seats. If you beg, maybe just maybe you can get Jeni to let you in on the upholstery buy.

I'd say you got a good deal Adam

Welcome to the brotherhood! This is one of the coolest cars to own, and this is one of the friendliest boards I'm on! Everyone is always trying to help one another! Enjoy!

Great find! You most likely will need a tranny rebuild. Especially if you plan on adding horsepower. :) These cars are the best!

Where you getting the car from? Sounds like a good deal for a TTA project. Double check for rust spots as well. Dont forget pics. Good luck!

well, i drove down from tulsa, ok to mcallen, tx, about a 12.5 hr drive and the car drove great, no problems what so ever, i especially liked how the car picks up speed when passing a car on the hwy, i will be needing to get a new wing, front seats, center console could stay but i want to change it out, carpet, and a paint job would be nice but can wait.

adamt, good to hear you got it down here. Sounds like you are from my neck of the woods. I use to live in alamo for years and moved to edinburg. Glad to hear another TTA in the area. My current tta is my second, the first tta I had sold to a friend here in edinburg as well. Let me know if I can help with anything.
