concerning PAS members being at the TTA meet

What day (Saturday?) will the special guests be at the TTA Nationals 2011? This is in reference to the email I received concerning PAS members being at the TTA meet. Where will they be at (hotel)?

Is there a hotel we are all coordinating to be at?

Sorry for all the dumb questions if they have already been posted.

It's ok no question is dumb on our forum! As of now we are planning on using the Jegs suit at the track. As the event gets closer we'll see if we need several sessions with Scott Kelly and the others from PAS that are attending. If the attendance gets really high for this we "may" move to a bigger location. The Jegs suite at the track fits many but we'll get a better feel for it as it gets closer. We also may have other special guests signing on as well. You'll receive a few more e-mails from the board before the event. One of those will be a RSVP for the Q&A session with Scott Kelly and the PAS crew to get a feel where we are at. We just wanted to start getting the word out there to get you guys ready for the biggest TTA gathering ever! I can't wait! :clap:
 
Thanks. The only reason I ask, is that i can only come Saturday, i will have my TTA there.

Question, years ago the Buick GS Nationals was held at NT, I had my TTA there, it was bit of a dust storm. Is the show on pavement now?
 
Great to hear you'll be there with TTA! It's 90% blacktop. Seems every year I go there they blacktop a little more of the pits over the last few years. Where the show/display is going to be it's all blacktop. They have a big grass field that the car show it typically on but because the TTA's will be the feature cars they will all be on the blacktop just behind the stands.

Here is a few pics of how it looks when they typically set up for a car show. Where you see all these GSX's there will be turbo trans am's next year!

They have plenty of black top space for us. I think that was just over 100 GSX's that year. Hoping to double that with TTA's! We'll just push the pits back a little but this track is huge for an event like this that is for sure!
 
The biggest thing we ALL need to do and help out with is promoting this event all over the place! Tell everyone and anyone you know about it. While I can't wait to meet all you guys that are going to attend we need to load this place up with TTA's! Those poor cars all deserve to be back together again! That plus the people = the perfect event for me! I'm working every side of this thing to make it the best possible event it can be for you guys!

I can tell you right now if we have the q and a in the Jegs suite it's because either the event was a bust or because we are forcing it in there. The jegs suite blows ass for a seminar like this. 20 people can actually see and hear him...the rest will be standing behind walls and won't be able to see...

This needs to be done in a convention center.
