Custom Throw Blanket

I need some help,

For Christmas I received a custom throw blinket order form. Basically you send in a picture and they knit a throw blanket. And of course being a true car-guy I'd like it to be a TTA theme blanket to use at races and to cover luggage in my back window.

1. I'd like some opinions and ideas about what would look good.

2. I need some better pictures. All of my pictures have race track guard rails, major shadows, or not of the whole car.

My car doesn't have any of the pace car stickers on it. I'd take some more pictures of my car but I have no engine in, no hood on, and there is snow all over.

72firebird, I was eyeing up a couple of pictures you had taken of your car, would you mind if I wanted to pull one and use it? That front picture in the alley is pretty cool. I'd use that plus a picture of the rear of my car or something cool from photoshop.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll post the final product when I get it.

I don't mind if you use the pics, just make sure you post some pictures if you get it made :) Sounds like a pretty cool idea.

I'll definately post pics. It takes a month or two to make. It will probably be spring by the time I get a final product. I'm hoping somebody over on mifbody.com can combine a few pictures in photoshop and make something really cool. Thanks!

Sounds like a cool project. Who's the vendor? Have a web-site?

My blanket kit actually came from Shopko. To order my print I need to use Innovative Design Group - Log In. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be a very user friendly web site. I did find the exact same product from PhotoWorks: Custom Photo Books, Photo Cards, Digital Prints, Photo Calendars, Photo Mugs Keepsakes. with a user friendly web site. You can upload the pictures and preview the product before you purchase.

Here is the product that we've put together over on mifbody.com. Took Jared's picture from this summer and modified it in photoshop. What do you think?

Thanks again for the picture Jared! Easy to create art with such a nice photo!

I think that's why they removed it. It didn't look right with it, to blurry.

The end result is awesome!!!
:hooray:

Yeah, we took the decal out. It looks more like my car now + it was a little blurry anyways.

Jared, I will definately post pictures of the final product. You might want to make one for youself if it looks good!!! Thanks again for the picture,

Eric

I can't beleive it, my blanket showed up today!!! They said wait 6-8 weeks and it only took 1!!

This is a pretty poor quality camera phone picture but I really like it. I'll try to get a higher quality picture when my digital camera batteries get charged. I think this is a great product!

You guys have way too much time on your hands...

I need to surround myself with pictures of the car to keep me inspired. I haven't driven the darn thing in 9 months and it will be 3 more months before it runs again. I sometimes need reminders why I'm spending so much money on this thing...and no it wouldn't be running if I spent more time with the car and away from the computer. The motor went from one machine shop to the next. I should have just put a V8 in it and some GTA tags - it would be done already, lol.
