Daily Driver

Hi '91 Formula,
Not me! I use my 1959 Chevy pickup when I work, and my girlfriend's 1991 Firebird with the Sport Appearance Package on the weekends and nights. The 20th TTA hardly ever comes out! But when she does, I play hard wherever we go! Ha!

My Daily Driver is a 454 SS Pickup.

I save the TTA for when I want to go out and spank LS1 T/A's and Mustangs.

I took my TTA off the road because I'm sick of sitting in an interior that looks like a grizzly bear threw a temper tantrum in! I'm not putting her back on the road until she's brand new (for the third time being restored!). Then I will add some more horsepower and chrome to the mix!

PS: It was my daily driver for a year!
 
Although its not my daily driver, I do drive it about 3 times a week depending on weather. I usually put 100 miles a week on it. Sometimes more

I just picked up a new daily driver and it makes a good match to the TTA. It's a Bonneville SSEi supercharged, white with tan cloth interior, just like my TTA.

it was my daily driver when i first got it but i now have a crx to beat on. lucky for me cuz premium unleaded is over $2.35/gal now.

drive mine all the time but I do have 2 other vech. that I drive-
my 2000 f150 4x4 for work and the 98 EB expy comes into service for wife and 3 kids
 
I have insured my TTA again because it seems to be cheaper on gas than any other of my cars! Also, I sold my Talon to my sister, so it seems I have no other car to drive, unless I insure the Stealth, but that needs some minor work before I insure it! I guess the resto will have to wait until fall/winter!
 
I think I can put your mind to rest. I purchased my Hardtop TTA a couple years ago with 153k miles on it so I wasn't scared to put miles on it. I purchased it from the original owner out of Houston who maintained it very well with synthetic oil every 3k, tranny service every 15k and had the engine bearings and timing set replaced around 80k miles preventatively. I drove the car daily to work, occasionally driving my 86 or my other turbo a couple days a month or so, and have a little over 181k on it with an untouched tranny or upper end of the motor (or pistons or rings). This shows how reliable these cars can be if given the chance. Biggest thing is that most of us push the cars real hard every chance we get which does shorten their lifespans tremendously. Evenso, If you don't get greedy with boost or whatever, they'll make it a long ways just like your formula. My TTA's won't get as many miles now that I have an 83 S10 and a motorcycle to start doing most of the daily work.
 
well, as I said it had 153k miles on it so it went real cheap. It was advertised on the old TTA mailing list and no one else seemed real interested so I called the guy and got a video of it, drove down and bought it. Kyle
