Exhaust Flex Joint

Has anyone replaced the piece of pipe from the down pipe to the cat(test pipe) that has the flexible joint between the bends?

Does anyone provide this pipe? If it is not available can the flexible coupling be purchased? The coupling is 10" long where welded on each end. The OD of the pipe at this location is 2.5" It should be possible to remove the old coupling and weld in a new one, if one that fits is out there.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen those flex pipes in auto parts stores. I am not sure if they are a universal part number or if they can be bought in the exact same length.

Before my ATR down pipe was on I did replace the flex coupler or whatever it's called. I bought it from summit based on length and diameter and simply welded it on.

Problem solved. Our local muscle car and hot rod friendly exhaust shop ordered me one from their pipe and muffler supplier. Had it in a couple hours.:)

It is an exact match for the original. Sorry I don't have much info on it. The part has no stamping on it and came in a plain, sealed, plastic bag.
Best I could gather is it is probably produced by Walker.
