Fitting stock Downpipe

I am trying to help someone install a stock DP on a TTA and it is hanging low for some reason. It seems like it is bolted correct up top. I would say it is hanging about an inch or two off the ground.

I will mess with it some more but I figured I would ask in the meantime.

that's kind of low,was the car lowered or anything of that nature. It shound't be that low to the ground.

no stock ride height. The pipe is hanging low. The hanger that connects the DP to the pass side header bracket has a good inch gap. Not sure why yet.

I may take it apart and redo it

I will get pics. I started the car up and the top didnt leak. Unless I need to route it down differently. I did one before and it wasnt a problem. So maybe it is something dumb. :)

I looked at mine from the bottom and the crossover pipe going to the driver side is not much lower than the oil pan is if any. Didn't take measurements but it appeared that way and it is the stock DP.
