fuel pressure problem??

hey everyone, turbod here again. i still havn't found my problem yet, if anyone has read my other posts under "fuel pump" i stated my car won't start i thought because of a bad fuel pump. i'm not sure if that is it! i replaced the "vats" ignition a few months back, new fuel pressure regulater, new ignition module, and fresh gas, all in the past couple of days. the car starts for a few and cuts right off? i started it again and brought it up to 2000 rpm for about a minute or so and i looked at the drivers side header and it was glowing red!!! before i start the car and the key is in the "on" position it makes a loud buzzing sound from the top of the engine somewhere? that's when i disconnected the fuel pressure regulater to put a new one on and when i loosened the fuel line underneath it nothing came out? my question is should fuel spay out at least when a line is dissconnected because of the pressure in the system? i was told there is about 35 psi in the line. could my pump be shot, causing a lean condition to make my header glow red hot? anyone?????

WONT START

CHECK YOUR CAT MAY BE STOPPED UP I HAD SIMILAR PROB ON MY GTA AND FOUND THAT THE PUMP WAS NOT RUNNING AT ALL IF NOT CHECK YOUR FUSE TO PUNP IT LOCATED BY INTAKE CAN FRONT OF CARMOUNTED TO BOBY BY RADIATOR
