Guys, I've been neglecting my TTA for a while. It's been sitting in a garage for several years as I sent most of my time and money finishing my house. Now that I have moved to a brand new house outside of the Atlanta area, I think it's time to start getting her going again. It won't turn over, so I'm assuming the fuel pump needs to be replaced after all the time it spent sitting with gas in it. Yeah, I know, should have taken better care of it. If it's been sitting that long, what should I look at working on first to get it to turn over? If I have to replace the fuel pump, anybody have any instructions on the best way to do it and also whats the best fuel pump to go with? Thanks.

Just to clarify. what do you mean it won't turn over? Like it won't crank the engine to start? or it cranks but won't start?

Well? I'd start with checking for fuel pressure at the rail (key on) and you'll need either a fixed gauge or removeable gauge for that. If you have 40PSI there then I'd be looking at a no spark condition. I suggest reading up on that here http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/ lot's of good troubleshooting info. I wouldn't be thinking of throwing parts at it just yet. It may be a very simple fix like a fuel filter.
I wasn't able to get a fuel gauge to check the pressure, but I did have any fuel coming out of the end of the fuel rail. I took off the fuel filter and with it off, I wasn't getting any fuel out of the tank. I replaced the fuel pump relay as well, with no change. Since I don't hear the fuel pump kicking on, I'm assuming I'm left with dropping the tank and checking the pump. Does anyone have any other thoughts? Thanks.
Did you check the fuel pump fuse? You can also disconnect the wires at the fuel pump (connector) and to make sure you have power back there.

You find the electrical connector for the fuel pump just in front of the fuel tank, so just go under there and look up (straight behind the rear seats if you like, and you will see it. Pull it apart and measure so you have voltage back there and if you do I would say the pump needs replacing.
