..........to have some issues. Have only driven the car about 100 miles since the oil change, basically only 100 miles this whole driving season. My TTA has developed a "tick". Noticed it on Thurs evening on the way home from a short drive. It does not tick at start up, only after it has warmed up. I still have good oil pressure and car drives the same. Seems to be coming from the passenger side area closest to the fire wall (sorry, dont know what cylinder that is). My dad and hubby listened to it and we are hoping its just a lifter or something simple. Plan is to remove valve cover and see what we got. Will determine plan of action after that. I am SO hoping its nothing serious as it has really brought me down the last few days.
I know the PO took very good care of the car, as I do; but the first 48,000 miles of her life is unknown.
Any tips or input on what to look for or to help diagnose would be greatly appreciated. THX
Gonna pull the valve cover sometime next week-been hectic around here and dont want to rush it.
