HELP car starts for a second and shuts down

This is a new one for me! The car starts and then immediately dies. I put a fuel pressure gauge on and after the pump stopped running the pressure went to zero. So I guessed that it was either the pump or fuel pressure regulator. Regulator was easiest and cheapest to fix so strike one. Then the pump, strike two. Then I changed the plugs and wires and you guessed it I'm out of ideas. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Do you know if it has an aftermarket chip? Some chips, like the Trasher, had an anti-theft mode. It would allow the car to start and run on the fuel in the rails for a second or two and then die. That is, unless you knew the secret way around the anti-theft mode. :idea5:

I'm having the same problem, though I've performed fewer troubleshooting steps at this point. The "dealer" didn't have the original keys and had to have a set made, maybe I have a theft issue as well?
