Help me find my old TTA

I had to sell my TTA years ago to move along financially in my business. I talked to the friend that bought and resold it but he couldn't find any info(Vin #etc...) but after a few moves and lots of searching I found the VIN on my original bill of sale back in 1994. I ran a car fax and it appears it was recently registered in Alabama just a few months ago. I would like to talk to the new owner and try and buy it back. I hope the owner is a member here or the previous owner that was from Ohio that my friend sold it to. Here is the VIN #1G5FW217XKL234946 This was a leather T-top car. Patiently waiting

Going by the vin, the build # should be pretty low- around 170.
