Help to identify genuine TTA.

I recently found an `89 model, and I am trying to find out if it' s real or not. The car has been neglected, and woul need some work, but from what I can see, it looks pretty real to me. What identifin characteristics, can help me to better find out? All badging on the car is correct. I also looked under the front end of the car and right behind the airdam I noticed a plastic scoop. Would this be for the intercooler? That was my guess anyway. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Matt!

Check the VIN code, it should be 15GFW217.... the seven in the code stands for TTA.
The back seat has high neckrest.
Inbuild boost gage in the dash.

Yes, it?s a scoop for the IC under the car, it?s supposed to have a net in the front but they come loose after some speed bumps.

Here you have tons of info:
