History for 1989 TTA ebay auctions (updated 6-Mar-2004)

I guess you will need to add the 62 mile car which sold for $25,000 tonight.

Thanks for keeping this up-to-date information.

TTA Sold

The Forth TTA down ex Hellertown PA.. did sell & will reside in a collection in Australia... Excellent car too.. drove it across the country to LA.. went like a charm... (bloody quick one too..), 3,000 miles easy in 6 days.. roads were ok.. ex NYC to Santa Monica Pier... whata drive... & great country to do it in. It will now be treasured and cared for like the best of them.

Congrats!
You should have emailed me! I could have brought my car out to play too! I also could have shown you some really great eateries here in Los Angeles!
My car is now out in Arizona, but I spend quite a bit of time now in Los Angeles!
So, is yours the only one in Aussieland?

Have fun with your new toy,

George

TTA Cross Country...

Thanks George.. Rain Check that... .. I see your in Kingman...... damn.. my last stay was in there... .. infact it damn well snowed there overnight and make for some neat pictures to show the folk back in OZ where were sweating it in 95+ temps in Sydney .. ..
.. This trip was sorta quickly arranged (2 days) and done as we don't have alot of good things to say about buying cars via ebay.. especially if you live outside the USA.. tend to be a lot of three fingered bango players out there who just are looking for a sucker.... .. SO.. regardless.. we just went and picked it up.... and SO GLAD we did..

.. Brought it from a couple in Hellertown.. bueat people.. well mannered and real decent folk.. sorta people we all want to deal with..

.. NYC was cold as hell.. but alot like sydney... .. The car will be maintained Left Hand Drive and kept well.. It's the only known unit down this way... there is a dummy/ mock version with decals on a standard V6 86 or 87 model (why do people do that...???) in Perth on the otherside of OZ..

... Anyway.. here's a (non active link) picture of the car actually IN Kingman a few weeks back - would have been a good picture of both of the cars.. http://www.chevparts.com/davesuploads/TTASnow.jpg [/url]

Hi again Ozpont!
I was there in Kingman a few weeks ago, when it snowed! We only got a very small dusting! It was gone within a few minutes!
I have spent the last week in Los Angeles, packing some more stuff!
Sorry to have missed you!

Maybe next time,

George
