No...That is an older picture with the stock DP. I now run a cutout and a 3" DP.WS6 said:Your car looks clean, clean, clean.
Do I not see a catalytic convertor?
WS6 said:That leads me to another question. The previous owner gave me a dump tube to replace the convertor. Now, I'm not subject to emissions testing here so I'm thinking about putting it on in place of the convertor. My question is does this change the way the O2 sensor reacts? Does it make the O2 sensor slow to react or cause the ECM to stay in open loop? If so do I need to buy a heated O2 sensor?

They sound bad ass when they are open too. Think about an electric dump for this year's stocking stuffer, you will love popping it open on nonsuspecting victims! Heated 02s are generally used when running leaded race gas. :arab:
Put the dump pipe on. The o2 sensor is in the header and the dump is after that. So to answer your question, no.WS6 said:That leads me to another question. I think your external fuel pump might not be supplying the fuel anymore...sverble said:Do you know what your fuel pressure is at WOT? Got a gauge?
On a side note, but still somewhat realted to the heated 02, I was
thinking about turning the alcy off and using a heated 02 and running C16 race gas, I've ran it before, that shit really cuts the knock out.:cold:

WS6 said:Mine's internal, and has been replaced with what I think is a Walbro unit with a Pertronix type hot wire kit.
I have a gauge on the rail and of course in park and running at idle it's 40+ .
So, how does a remote mounted fuel gauge plumb inside the car? Tell me it's not a tube off the fuel rail??
