Looking for Turbo Boost sensors

I Have a 1980 TTA Indy Pace car with the origional 301 i need the vacume diagram as well as the engine wiring harmess for the turbo boost system with all the aplicable sensors does anyone know where these part would be located

im in the process of a 100% restoration.. the car is 30%complete and i need all the stuff that the stupid owner before me took out like the computer module and the HEI distribitor and the boost system stuff the dumb shit cut all the wires off the harness. if anyone can help let me know you can also e-mail me at [email protected] or call me at 011-49-9334-978494

I also have a 1980 Turbo Trans Am pace car. Let me try and help you with your questions. I do not proclaim to be an expert but this system on the 1980 Turbo cars is not too complicated.

Within that web page you will find a lot of good information regarding the 1980 and 1981 Turbo 301 system. This is a web site I found when I first purchase my 1980 Turbo Trans Am. Scroll towards the bottom of that first page and you will see links to the vacuum diagram, electrical diagram and ESC (computer diagram).

You will want the HEI distributer (my opinion anyway). However, you really do not "need" the ESC computer. This was the first year which the Trans Am / Firebird cars had a computer. This computer did just one function and that was to monitor KNOCK in the engine and to retard the timing if knock was detected. If you are running good GAS (and todays better gas) you will not likely have a knock problem anyway. These Turbo 301 motors do not put out much boost anyway so the knock/pinging is not going to occur as much as the more modern turbo systems.
