Missing TTA Fender Emblem

I saw on www.89tta.com that the fender emblem was put on the cars up untill 350 when they ran out. Then the dealer would put them on at a later time. Do you think a dealer would be able to get them and put them on free of charge? My TTA never came with them (just trying to save a few bucks!).

Hi coolguywalt!
Don't believe that the first 350 car got them!
My car is number 231, and I picked it up from the dealer on April 1st, 1989! No fender emblems! None! And one Indy wing was missing!
On top of that, I got a call from the dealer later, telling me that they recieved them! I went right down there, and they couldn't find them! They thought that someone had snaked them! I did too!
Within a year, the dealership went out of business!
A year later, there was an auction for some desks from the dealership! My friend (funny how all my friends are like this) of mine bought a couple of desks! I didn't even know about it!
Guess what was in a desk? Yep! A letter with my vin, and the two emblems! Did I get them? NO! He refuses to even sell them to me!
Man, with friends like these, who needs enemies?
Anyway, they (the emblems) pop up on ebay every so often. Most of us collectors hoard them! :D
See..........it wouldn't fail, if we sold them, then we would need them!

Good luck getting them,

George

Sold my only NOS set to kansashusker so can't help there, there is aftermarket once avalible but they look "to good / new" to match the rest of the emblems on your car ... only recommend the aftermarket once if you replace all of them ...

Thanks Jan

Emblems showed up just as you said. Excellent condition :D

There were no blue hoses in the box though  haha.
