More Boost With No Knock = Alky

I finally played around with the Alky Control Knob and turned it up from 4 to about 5 1/2. Now at around 20lbs of boost I have no knock, no matter what I throw at it. From a dead stop or from a rolling stop it don't matter.

If you want to run at wot every now and then, the Alky is a must, it works.
If I would have had it last year I am sure I would not have blown headgaskets!!!!
A blurry pic of the gauge, but the rpms and boost were still building.

It pegs out the stock boost gauge with no problem, I hope it won't break it. I really need another external gauge.:beach:

Yes, Julio has great service. A while back I could not get my Alky Pump to come on. Could not figure it out.

So I called Julio up and he walked me thru a series of tests, finally I found out it was a wire leading to the pump from underneath the dash that had came loose.

I know it had to happen when I had the lower dash loose installing that stupid cruise control, turnsignal lever and running the wire thru the steering column.

Anyway I got it all working now, and it is great that Julio is just a phone call away or e-mail away. :thumbup:

Yeah, he's a cool dude. He's helped me with questions in person and over the net about my alky system. I don't even have his kit and he has helped me out. I have an older SMC non progressive. I did his t-shirts also...Which rock and I think you get one with your order, Or you should.
