Had a custom display stand made to bring along to shows. Sits under the wheel and comes apart at the base (see photo) to easily transport it and also allows for the info board (frame) to swivel around and then be locked in place depending on how you park up and where people most likely would view it / read it.
Seamless tubes, all powder coated silver, used clear plastic hose on the base "forks" to protect it ...
Frame is a A3 sized "flip frame" so the 4 sides are spring loaded and open up so you easily can swap out the poster in there.
I did a write up of the history, Indy, my specs, quotes from old magazine articles along with some photos. See attached PDF file. Any comments suggestions on the text is welcome.
I've used it at one show a couple of weeks ago and it really pulled in people and was a good way to get people to learn more and ask questions about the car ....
