need help with 301 engine water ???

I just bought my son a 1980 TA with a 301 engine. Had to replace the radiator and I am having trouble Identifying the part that is between the engine and the water pump. It seem there is a divider that for sure needs to be replaced since it is leaking water on the edge due to rust build up. can someone help me identify and direct me to where I can purchase the part. I hope I made a good investment in this car whic I am willing to help him resotore as long as parts are available for it. I went into year one catalog and there seems to be a water pum divider plate which sounds right but the one in this car runs all the way down to the pulley. I would appreciate any advice thanks.

There should be a divider plate between the engine and waterpump.
I believe that they were all the same for most pontiac motors though.
GM should have them, you may find them on ebay, but a good place to check out is:

I'm having trouble locating the timing cover for this engine. Checked the 301 garage nothing on how I can purchase one.
