Thats the same as my lifts, I have two. Kinda slow but work great!!

My Audi Allroad was set on height level 3, so I can lower it another 5 inches if I wanted too with the push of a button. #733 will be going underneath anyway, so I am sure I will have plenty of room. Chris, I would stop by and help, but I have to wash my hair. lol
Looks nice Mike!! Your photos were very helpful because my ceiling height is 10 feet also and I will be purchasing a lift in the next couple weeks. Now I just have to find a close vendor to buy a lift because the shipping prices are high. I saw a couple vendors in Indiana and Wisconsin that might work. Where did you get your lift from?

Hey Mike, nice setup. I'm curious though - where is the garage door? Or does it swing out?

The garage door is in front of the hood in the one picture. It is an 18 foot wide door tucked tight to the ceiling use a Jackshaft door opener and high lift guides. The Jackshaft opener drives the shaft, so you don't need to have a regular garage door opener that would get in the way. I designed the garage to house the lift before I even built it, so I asked lots of questions prior.

I submitted plans with different ceiling joists, but my village made me change them to the 10ft. I can park a tank on the roof with what they made me build it with. 2x18's 16 on center if I remember correctly. A bit overkill for a garage I think.

Look's like 2x10's, damn i wouldn't want to haul those truss's up a 10ft sidewall....:eeks:

Very cool Mike !!!!Congrats,a lift is a great piece of equipment to have.My ceiling is also 10' to the finished sheetrock,so parking under my four post lift gets a little tight depending on what I try and park underneath.When the TTA is on it,being lower than most cars,makes it easy.
I have three lifts total in my garage,a four post like yours,a Bendpak 9K lb two post,and a Rotary Revolution mid rise.The easiest one to get on and off is the four post.I have not tried to put my TTA on my two post,its a PITA to swing the arms under the low height that they are,so I don't bother.

You might be right, might have been 2x10's or 2x12's, I forget. All I know is my village made me build my garage stronger then my house is built. The entire garage was built on site with NO pre-fabbed anything. These 2 guys were incredible and knocked it out quickly. They were going to come back and raise them one more foot once inspection was completed, but 10ft is enough for now.
