New Pace Car for 2008.

Ok, first , I know there are some vette haters, and I understand that the vette guys can be barley tolerable when you see all that corvette logo jewelry blinding you in the sun like Burt Reynolds on acid, but the new vette pace car is interesting. Worth a look. 438 horse. What do you all think about the paint job?

I like the voice operated GPS, the engine, and the Fittipaldi hand signature....and the Corvette...but I'm not crazy about the 'reference' to being retro by it resembling the '78 Corvette Pace Car, which I wasn't a fan of either. Maybe it'll grow on me, but I doubt it. Just my .02 cents.

Yeah the 89 TTA is probably one of the cleanest pace car replicas, other than the 90 or 91 Viper GTS. IT had just a door sticker... Oh yeah, I think the 86 corvette looked good, yellow it had just a door sticker, no swooshes, kinda like the TTA.

You don't need to do anything special to be stealthy in a TTA IMO.
You could put a sticker on the door that read:
"Attention typical moron. This is 1 of 1500 turbocharged TA's"
and most people would be like, "hey look that guy thinks his old firebird is gonna be in a parade" I actually dated a girl in the summer of 1990, and she asked me "why did you put a sticker on the door that says it's a pace car? Are you kidding", She didn't last long, but then again last I heard she named her kid "Harley" cause her boyfriend liked harley motorcycles, awesome logic...so there you go.
Most folks don't get it. Only a few gearheads know whats up, and those are the ones your gonna race most likely.
