Hi guys, I just found out about this car and this site. :) I don't have a TTA yet, but I've been looking to find a completely shot TTA and possibly bring it back to life. I'm really interested in finding something that was destroyed by a flood or something that I can buy. A hardtop would be preferable. Is this even possible? Thanks. Matt
 
Matt, it's possible. I got mine that way. Picked it up in rough shape for $4500.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but if I were to do this all over again. I'd find a more common Z28 or Trans Am (w/ a 350). I'd probably have just as much fun without the complications of an uncommon forced induction motor. And, without the nagging feeling that my modifications won't be entirely appreciated by some of the purists here. ;). (Love you guys anyway)
 
Hey man I love the moddified TTA's they are wayyyyy faster and still just as cool. Who doesn't love that!! If we all kept our TTA's pure there would be no fun is seeing a true stock TTA. So those purists are lucky the rest of us modify our cars.

Yes!
Some dealerships could get Gale Banks to do a conversion.
But they wanted money up front! ;)
If you were willing to pay, anything could be done to a car at a dealership.
Gale Banks is in SoCal.
