No spark / Help !!!!

I recently started up my TTA after letting it sit in the garage for almost 2 years. Unfortunately it wont run. When I first started the car it ran for 5 to 10 seconds and then shut itself off, I started it again and it did the same thing. I charged the battery to the max, pulled all the plugs and installed new ones, then went to crank the engine again and it would not start again. So I assumed it might not be gettting fuel, so I purchased a new pressure regualator and installed it, and then tried starting the car again, and it did the same thing. Had my cousin, who is extremely knowledgeable and we have determined we are not getting spark, but this is not good considering it could be a number of things, like the module, the computer, crank sensor, etc. I am VERY frustrated and I am not sure where to get started just yet. If anyone has had the same problem OR ADVICE let me know, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS

Does it have one of the aftermarket chips that has a theft deterrent feature? that allow it to run a few seconds and then die.

Do you have the factory service manual suppliment? I recommend following the diagnostic in the manual. don't just skip around making checks. Follow the recipe exactly.
