NOS GM rear spoiler

BuickGN

TTA# 130
Can you still find NOS rear spoilers around? No need to hear responses like why would I want that, just for originality.

I looked into it about a year ago before I replaced mine, with the lighter version. There out their, but hard to find. I did locate a NOS one from GM dealer, but it was like $1,200+ shipping & paint on top of that. :(

the factory TTA spolier is going to crack .. a fiberglass replacement spoiler isnt going to take 1200 off the price.

So it's just a fact over time. GM never made a replacement that they updated in that style not to crack?

Correct no updated version from GM I'm afraid. For 91/92 the new GTA style is all glassfiber and leight weight so I guess they did learn the leasson but applied it onto a totaly new design instead.

just like the one from Hawks which everyone is buying. I just missed seeing the posts from the group buy for the spoilers and was too late.

Does anyone have a GM part number for the original rear spoiler?

Just found the GM part number for the rear spoiler (I wrote it down a while back & some how it grew legs & walked off) but just came across it, better late then never...

My car has a replacement rear spoiler, I don't think it is fiberglass, Because you can squeeze it slightly like rubber. I guess it would not crack as bad. The only thing is , seeing how long paint is going to adhere to it. It was on there when I bought the car and I don't know how many years old it is.
