O2 setups comparo

I'm wondering if any of you guys have tried Zeitronix wideband setup. It looks very capable and full of features. It apparently give Innovative a run for its money. For our cars, is powerlogger the best way to go? Zeitronix is pretty reasonable priced for what it is capable of. Maybe we could possibly try to do a group buy and get it cheaper? I have never used a wideband and I feel it is a must now that boost numbers are higher than stock to keep close tabs on stuff

I'd like to know your thoughts. Import guys seem to like it quite a lot. Just wanted to know how it holds up in our cars. Thanks!

Not knowing much about them, other than then the 5 minutes of reading I googled on them. It appears to be a fairly capable set up for your basic datalogging. Looks like a max of 6 monitored parameters. With 4 on display.

Comes with the typical Bosch sensor, cables, etc. You still need a laptop to log as the head unit just has a peak recall.

Personally I wouldn't use it, only because the PL does 5 times a better job at data logging, and yes, it probably costs 2-3 times as much, the SD version logs 30 parameters.

But your asking if this is a better WB than the Inovative? well then no, because they use the same Bosch sensor.

And for what it's worth, I still use the narrowband's data to make tuning adjustments. It's usually a very reliable source of information and you should too. I think your putting too much info on the table and it can get very frustrating trying to sort out a KR problem if the basics aren't learned.

Other than keeping tabs on all the important aspects of tuning, I'm wanting to keep in-cabin gauges to a minimum. I can read about all this stuff but until I start messing with it, I won't actually "learn" about it. This due to the different situations and conditions that may arise. When I first read about setting IAC, I also read I'd have to re-set TPS. I didn't know what to expect or how setting IAC would affect TPS settings until I did it the first couple of times. I pretty much can do this without too much effort knowing which way to go with the parts' positioning.
I'm just trying to learn about the tools available in hope of getting the best one right off the bat before spending $$ I could use to maintain my car perfectly tuned. I'm probably biting more than I can chew but I know eventually it will all get sorted out in my head. With help from the guys who "have been there, done that", I can get there faster if the input received is aimed toward organizing all this wealth of knowledge in a way it can be absorbed faster and more efficiently. I really appreciate you guys taking time to post your thoughts on every subject being discussed. Thanks a bunch!!
