Oil cooler hoses

Well, I set out to replace my injectors. One thing led to another and now I'm replacing a number of other parts too. Since the coolant is out and I don't know the history of the car it seems like a good time to replace all the hoses. Does anyone know what type of hose should be used for the short hoses that connect to the oil cooler near the oil filter? The hoses there now are not in the best condition and are probably original. I'm not sure what they are made out of, but it isn't ordinary heater hose. Would silicone heater hose be appropriate here or is there a better option.
Thanks, Alan

GM still had them when I got a couple of spare ones a few years back so check with them ... but ordinary (good quality) heater hose will work just fine.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the part number for the hoses at a few online GM part places (GM parts direct, OEHQ) and came up with nothing so I thought they were no longer available. However, I will try the local GM dealer before I give up completely on getting stock ones.
