Power Mirror Switch Question

I got this used pwr mirror switch in, came off a wrecked car in calif. Comparing it to the one on my car it has markings on it. Left, Right and dir. arrows.

Is this the way it is supposed to be, with the markings? The orig one on the car don't have any or maybe they got worn off after all the years.
 
Yep they do have the white markings (arrows etc) on them. But they do wear off pretty quickly (well depending on how much you use them).
 
Jan, Thanks. Have some new reproduction power window switches on order. Will post pics of them when they arrive.
 
That car those parts came off of must have been in great shape. Everything you got from him looks like new.

Different car on this switch. But the car this switch came off must have been in great shape. I got it for a fraction of what the reproduction one is at Hawks.

But the car the steering wheel and door sills and other things must have been in good shape also. I try to look for deals and sometimes find them.:read:
 
:thumbup::cool1: Its one on the first things I do when I get a car those and a turn signal stalk. The OCD me likes the pretty lettering :teehee:
