Racetronix Fuel Kit w/ Hotwire installed...

I had the kit and hotwire kit installed today. I am extremely satified with the kit. I had my new tech installed the kit. Everything went together perfect!!! I checked the volts and they showed 14.6 volts at idle. I also love the fact the kit came with 2 brass fittings for the battery. Looks super sharp.

The kit took us about all of 5 hours to do with about 2, 10 minute breaks. He took the rear axle completely off. He told me this was the most pristine TTA he has ever seen. He has only seen 3 but ... Not one bolt gave him problems. Everything came right off easily. He was very impressed and so was I.

Right off the bat, I seen a faster start up and quicker throttle response. Absolutely Amazing and Top of the Line. I was worried I would not feel the difference but I knew the kit was definitely better for my TTA.

Well, now the bill. He charged me 250 dollars. I thought that was a great deal! All together the kit and install ran me 370 dollars flat. I purchased the Kit off the Turbo Buick site for 120 bucks. By far, worth every penny.

Well, I am done for the month. Soon, I will be purchasing Julio's alky kit. I will keep everyone posted. I recommend this kit to everyone. Easy installation and a Top Quality Product.

Thanks for sharing, good news as I'm just about to install my kit ... got the tank out and got it beadblasted and will paint it with POR 15 silver (and mine is a 115kmiles TTA) also all the suspension components been powder coated (springs etc) and got tubular LCA's and panhard rod etc as well.

You don't happen to have a sticker on the rear end cover (opposite side of the oil fill plug)? I'd like to get this one reproduced so if you have it and could take the dimensions of it as well as a good straigh on photo would be much appreciated.

The tank doesn't have to be empty to change the fuel filter. The lines will be full of fuel whether the tank is or not.

Just get two rags and not much will come out.

I usually pull the fuel pump fuse and then run the engine until it dies, cranking it a couple of time to releife pressure. Also open the fuel filler cap to releif the pressure. Fuel will still drip out and the filter will have fuel in it but at least you wont get sprayed

I've never gotten sprayed. :clap:

Changed it twice. Let is sit overnight and change it with not pressure...same difference.

I just figured in case any dirt or dust particles or anything dropped into the tank when the pump was removed. Figured I would rather run the gas through the old fuel filter. Just being VERY cautious and anal. Tank was on the ground so.... Plus, I have not changed my fuel filter yet. Thanks Guys.
