ScanMaster location?

Where is the easist place to hook up the wires for a scanmaster and to also mount it? Thanks

I have mine mounted on the underside of the dash, so it sits behind the steering wheel above the turn signal indicators. I've been using velcro on the top and back to hold it on, but lately the heat here in Texas has been melting it off. (If anyone has any better mounting suggestions, PLEASE speak up!)

I also have mine "semi mounted" under the dash pad behind the steering wheel. For a location to hook up to there is an accessories pin out on the back side of the fuse box under the dash. If you just take the dash pad off you can run all the wires down through the dash and keep them hidden, including the signal wire. You can run the wires between the dash and dash pad. Then I bought a small RC car connector and made it so that I could remove the scanmaster and you wouldn't be able to see the connector.

I'll try to look tonight and post some pictures, I found the old thread but it looks like the hosting is dead.
