somebody's next TTA engine.

I *think* there may be some hood clearence issues:idea5:

I can picture a cowl hood with a opening cut right up the center for a 5" up-pipe that makes a 100 degree bend just before the windshield and heads streight down into that intake. For an all out race car that could look bad-a**!

On top of fitment issues I'd be real concerned about the compression ratio. You'd want 8:1 compression to bolt the 88mm turbo on and run pump gas. I suppose if you're going to spend $12,000 for the engine it wouldn't be that much more to pull the pistons and have some different custom made pistons installed to drop the compression.

I really don't know much about those indy motors and what they did to the bottom end. The price of $12,000 doesn't seem that far out of line though does it? I've got about $7,000 into my 109 block with ported stock heads. That engine is certainly a lot more bling and flow potential than my engine.

WS6 since you found it I think you should buy it!
