just got car. Trying to weed out problems.

Spark knock.
Hard acceleration causes nasty spark knock with TT chip. Tried stock chip and no knock, but inconsistent performance. Sometimes too much boost lag, and or a flat spot in acceleration. sometimes it takes off like a jet plane with the stock chip, sometimes lackluster and sluggish. TT chip makes car go very fast and consistent, but has bad knock which I can' t tolerate. strange. I don't have a scan tool.
Why would the turbo tweak chip have knock while the stock one doesn't. I thought stock chip had too much timing. The tt chip is supposed to be a stock type chip. (it came with the car)
No mods whatsoever (that I know of)
2. TCC stays locked up until the car is almost stopped. (as if you didn't push the clutch in until the last second and the engine lugs down and almost stalls when you stop.)
Also, sometimes part throttle downshift doesn't happen, and you have to floor it to downshift. Sometimes it downshifts perfectly though. Then... I tried adjusting tv cable but I am afraid that now I can't get full throttle because tv cable is not letting throttle plate open all thee way. Although now the downshift problem is much better.
3. Rear end makes very slight noise all the time. Very quiet whining noise. It is so quiet that it is not even an actual whine. It is the small child of a whine. So quiet that it can only be heard if you have windows open, and your foot off gas, and drive next to a cement wall. If you close windows or give it gas or drive away from the wall, you can't hear it. There is no clunk when shifting from reverse to drive or drive to reverse. No extra noises while turning either.
Fluid is dirty. I will change it soon. Is this a problem or just the noise it is supposed to make?
