Does anyone know if the MAF from an 89 TTA will work on a 87 Buick GN? Reason i ask is that my buick needs to get smogged and looks like my OG MAF has gone bad. I recently got a MAF translator to work in both cars which is advertised to work in both. I'm guessing the chip handles the slight differences between the two cars even though it doesn't know a MAF translator is connected.
The LT1 MAF's wont fit for the stock airbox either. So i want to try the 89 TTA MAF in the Buick just to pay smog. Part numbers are different so not sure how it would work.
