Stud Girdle

Does anyone know if installing a stud girdle on a 1989 TTA causes any problems?

are you talking about a girldle between the block and the oil pan? If so I believe there are clearance issues with the stock K member.

If you plan on running stock TTA heads. You wont need a girdle.

i dont think the heads would cause any clearance problems with the girdle, but we are installing one now and will post the results next month. we measured and it is close, so i will take some photos if there are any interference issues.

You will need to extend the header crossover pipes underneath the car

What Bo said, unless you are building a 1/4 mile car with repeated hits it is not a must...
