T56 6 Speed

I read a thread about this over at TB,but done to a G-body. It's an interesting idea, but in my opinion only a novelty reward for doing it. Certainly no performance gain.

But...you'll need a donor 3rd gen that had the manual trans to grab all the hardware, driveshaft, pedals, etc, etc.

You'd have to be open to fabrication too, you may find that the T56 is not a bolt in and there is some geometry that needs worked out with the bellhousing.

The general problem w putting a turbo in a manual car is the RPM drop when U shift, unspooling the turbo to some degree, thereby losing HP & torq. An Auto can be designed to compensate, but I don't see how a manual could. generally not done.
