The Best spark Plug?

Whatta ya got and how does gap play into it?
Do your plugs look "clean" when you pull them?
In the past mine will look clean even when my scanmaster is showing rich numbers on the 02. The motor may cleanse between test WOP and the driveway when I'll pull a plug, the plug always look like new. I suppose it's running good, I'm guessing. Weird though, I can get a bit of knock, then a rich reading and the plugs look the same. I've heard the really fast guys in the 10.00 and faster saying that there is power in the plugs being dialed in... No idea here. wayya think????:cowboy:

AC Delco are the only plugs to run in these cars. I've tried them all. When I bought my TTA there was Deno's in it. I threw them in the trash and put AC Delco's in and the car ran better. Because they are cheap I change the plugs every year with a fresh set. Your TTA will love you for always :)

I'm going to the NGK TR5 this time around gapped at .032 with Russ Merritts wires. Will let ya know how it goes.

If they are good enough for Julio's 10.5 second car, they are good enough my slow car.

I agree with Philly, R42LTS Delco plugs are all you need. I run them gapped .032 with MSD super conductor wires in my red car and same gap with Delco wires in the others.

HTH,
Steve
