Does anyone know of any web sights where I can shop for a complete exhaust that replaces the factory exhaust. do you have any recommendations and exactly what size pipe should I be looking for. I have the original cat I was thinking of a hi-flo. THANKS...

There is a good thread on turbobuick.com about it right now but I think the only system available at the moment is the Hooker from summit. I have a hooker exhaust on my dads GN and it sounds great. No drone and fit nice. I know a few others have the system on there TTA so I will wait for them to reply with partnumbers and such.

+1 . I really really like it too! Did you use the tips it came with or the originals if you still have them? Joe

+2.

I took off the Hooker tips, because...well I dont like that look.

I do have the original tips the previous owner gave me, but I dont like them either.

I like the turn down, slash cut look of 2 1/2" tips. Much like a TPI powered T/A would have, only larger diameter. That's what I put on the ends of my Hooker tailpipes.

Borla is good and mandrel bent, I think Pypes exhaust offers a stainless mandrel bent, mufflex is big 4 inch for performance, Hooker is also an option, but if you do not want to change it again go with the stainless.
Most turbo guru's will tell you a straight thru muffler works better on a turbo car rather than a baffled style like flowmaster.Good Luck!

I have a Hooker on one of my cars. I really do not like it. My other car needed an exahust so I had a custom 3" SS exhaust made with an SS Ultra Flow with the stock tips. Cost more than the Hooker but worth it IMO

When I bought my car it was stock with no cat. Now I have 3" downpipe going to 3" intermediate pipe (from summit) to a Magnaflow muffler. The muffler is 3"in/dual 2" out hooked to stock tail pipes. At idle an part throttle is sound just like it did when I got the car. At 3/4 to full throttle the exhaust sound is throatier. Pretty hard to get a video of full throttle without hearing just turbo and/or wind noise. The car is still not real loud and that is what I like for those unsuspecting Mustangs/WRX's/etc.
