Another thing that I just had heard and am asking here to see if it is true, the rear wheels are different from the fronts???? Sorry guys if this is a well known fact for those who own them already, but I don't.One rim is offset more than the other ?
I'll throw two more out there, does the dash light up different tehn a reg GTA or T/A,and everytime you disconnect the batt the radio goes into lock mode, how do you unlock it?Thanks again
Been a while since I had a factory radio, but if the radio is the original, then I think you just hold down the mute button on the steering wheel for like 8 seconds.
Check out the inside of the rims too, they actually say front and rear on them in the inner wells. Also, look at the inner lip on both tires, the fronts are wider than the rears, to account for the larger brake calipers on the front.
When I got #613, it was delivered with the wheels on backwards, the previous owner probably rotated the tires. My mechanic spotted it because of the writing on the inner wheel wells. Not sure how they actually got them to switch but I guess it can be done, they were on the car like that.
Not sure about the dash lighting up any different, I would think they are the same, the only difference is the Turbo gauge and you should have a miniature 20th Anniversary Map Pocket pin stuck on the far right of the map pocket.
There are rare custom white gauge faces and the previous owner installed them on #1040/RAYDER before I purchased it.
