That works for the regular firebirds, the TTA ECM don't have that (remember its from the GN). So the VATS signal to the ECM would block the injector pulses but the TTA ECM don't have the VATS signal input to do so.
VATS only blocks the starter relay on the TTA and the ECM is out of the loop.
