What is this for and should it be connected? It is located near wiper motor and drivers side valve cover.
Thanks
Jim

Yes, It sits just behind where the oil cap is and below where the wiper motor is. It is a weatherproof type connector.

Don't know, kinda like Custer when asked by a soldier what do we do now, beats the hell outta me....:D the manual didn't show anything on it.

It was tucked up against the firewall, and noticed it was unplugged. Just curious what it's for. Thank's for checking.

Plugged it in, and let it run idle for a few minutes and it sounded ok. drove it down road and got into the boost and the engine sounded like it was going to blow up. Got back to the house and it and sounds like there is a problem. Anyway taking it in to have engine gone over, plus it still is overboosting-can't figure that one out either. Since their going over the engine is there anything I should replace at this point, pretty much original. I was thinking fuel injectors, and since the rear main is leaking that too, What about gaskets etc. or anything else.
