Where can I get parts??

I am a new TTA owner. My new car is nice but needs some work as it was neglected over the years. Mechanically, it runs great but the turbo over speeds. After doing some homework I would guess it needs a new y pipe, solenoid and hoses associated with the waist gate. Where can I get them? Also, are there any good "experts" in the Indianapolis area for these? I could use some friendly advise.
 
There is lots of parts that over lap with the buick Grand National however not all parts are the same. If you go to turbobuick.com there are a list of vendors that sell parts. Also there is a classified section where you can buy used parts from other members.

I assume you mean the turbo is over boosting, are you going by the fac. gauge? if so its not very accurate, the solenoid and y pipe rarely go bad and the vac hoses are nothing special as any parts house will have them. If your solenoid or y is bad just look up RJC racing and order a adj. boost controller, if you rub the vac. lines and your fingers turn black replace them anyhow. The best money you can spend is on new injectors, chip.and boost gauge as well as a fuel pump.
 
If I'm not mistaken, the orifice in the y-hose going to the turbo and solenoid is a different size than that used on the GN. I know at one point in the past like many years ago a vendor was selling the wrong one.
What you want to do depends on if you want to keep it stock appearing, in which case an externally adjusted controller will not fit your needs....Nothing beats an in car boost controller too if your looking to do other mods such as alkyd, Translator Gen2 or Pro, etc.

New parts are getting harder to find due to the age of our cars and the fact that GM discontinued a lot of them a long time ago.

The forums are a good source to find many parts you might need (new or used) as already pointed out or in some cases there's viable options to look at that would help improve reliability in general.

Solenoid on ebay (I'm sure you can find a cheaper one or a good used one):

The solenioid - turbo Y hose also pops up on ebay however normal hose can be used but the Y got a orifice in there that if yours is good you need to re-use but the TTA's is different size compared to the GN one as pointed out.
 
If you decide to go with a RJC boost controller it will feel like you got 50 more hp, they are about $65 or you can buy the same thing from Earl Brown for $40, only down side is your tires won't last as long...:D
 
After a close examination, it turns out that the vacuum line feeding the waist gate had a hole in it. I snipped off the line and plugged it back in and it worked!!

I would still like to find a local expert to go threw it with me. Any suggestions?
