All gone. Can this thread be deleted?
I see your part # for the PTC but what est is the stall ?, NLU ?
They don't rate their converters with a stall rating. But it should stall around 2800-3200, but it could be higher or a little lower depending on your power level, how much boost you are running and if you have a trans brake. I hope that answers your question.
Bison built Jb 6466, 373 9" rear, fresh 200,with duel feed and billet forward drum.. again is it a Nlu ? Boost is 24/w Alky for now.
It is a non-lockup converter. I would say it should stall around 3400 with your power level and flash over 5000. That is based on others with similar power/boost levels and the same converter.
You have high dollar stuff that was bought w/some guidance... any references ?
What are you looking for a reference on?
I've done a lot of reading, asked a lot of questions and talked to a lot of people in person at shops and shows. What I have is what seemed to be the best for a street car running e85, making around 25psi and around 700-750hp.
I will do some research on it and get back to you.
Sounds good. Any questions, just ask.
Looks like that is a 18 blade tc,i need to pray on that for a min. as i'm not sure if it would be better than rebuilding my 9.5 AC that Dusty ( PTC)
can do for $300....
Turbo and stall are so tempting.. Let me mull it over a bit, I have a lot on my plate at the moment, so not too sure if it will be do-able or not. I'll let you know.
Not a problem. Send me a pm if you want to try to work out a deal
